器物简介：蒜头瓶是明清时期景德镇窑常见的一种瓶式样，仿自汉代青铜蒜头壶，长颈，削肩，圆腹，圈足，瓶口似蒜头而得名，因其状如蒜头而颈略长，亦可称之为虎爪瓶。此器内施白釉，无纹饰，外壁满绘缠枝莲花图案，枝蔓缠绵，委婉多姿， 生动优美，富有动感。喻缠绵不断、生生不息,万代绵长，吉祥永恒之意。底足有红料彩双方栏“政合宫”三字篆书款。

 

 

Introduction:
The Garlic-shaped vase which is very popular in Ming and Qing Dynasty, imitated bronze garlic-shaped pots in Han Dynasty.It is known as Garlic-shaped enamel porcelain vase because of its features: a long neck, a declining shoulder, a round belly, a ring foot and a garlic-like mouth. It is also named Tiger Paw Vase. The interior of the vase is plain white glaze without any drawing, while the exterior is decorated with intertwining lotus patterns. The colorful, beautiful and vivid drawing symbolizes flourishing good luck and eternity. The three Chinese characters “Zheng He Gong” printed in red olden Chinese seal font could be found at the bottom of the vase.
